We've got an ambitious programme of work, underpinned by our customer-centric strategies. It's fast paced, future-focused and challenges the status quo.
To deliver this strategy, we're looking for curious, action-oriented people who are energised by an agile way of working and helping each other succeed.
There's so much more to the TAB than meets the eye, so why not scratch the surface and find out why you should be a part of our team. Are you up for the challenge?
Our customers are the lifeblood of our business and every year hundreds of thousands of Kiwis from all walks of life bet on racing and sport with the TAB. On average, 114,500 Kiwis bet on account bet on account with the TAB each month, and 228,500 have placed bets over the past twelve months. New customers have grown 52% year-on-year since 2016 with account growth of 21%. Our customers enjoy a true omni-channel wagering experience - betting digitally via the website or mobile app, in retail across our extensive range of TAB venues, on-course or at special events.
The TAB is committed to becoming a more diverse and inclusive organisation. We welcome diversity in all forms, and want all of our people to know they are respected and valued, whatever their background, identifiers, beliefs or affiliations. People are at the heart of our success. By embracing and incorporating the vast ranges of experience and perspectives our people bring to the TAB, we are able to broaden our understanding, make better decisions, and deliver an improved experience for our customers. Not only is it great for the hearts and minds of our people, it's great for our customers.
We know that diversity and inclusion doesn't just happen, which is why we have embedded these principles in our organisational values which underpin the way we work and how we treat each other. We are building our strategy and our first focuses are on resolving gender-based pay inequalities, and improving representation of women and ethnicities in leadership. We may be at the beginning of our diversity and inclusion journey, but we are excited to see where it can take us.
Just as sport brings together Kiwis from all backgrounds, we are striving to foster the same diversity in our workforce. Our aspiration is to increase women in leadership, build a flexible and inclusive workplace, and continue our drive for diversity of thought in every aspect of our business.
We offer free health insurance, workspace customisation, extra sick leave, access to counselling services and employee driven activities for example yoga, walking/running groups and more.
We are doing things differently and encouraging you to be curious, think in new ways and ask questions. There's no shortage of challenge or opportunity - you just need to back yourself, grab the opportunity to develop and give it a go!
We take our work really seriously but not ourselves. We love to get involved with our social club events and send shout outs to our colleagues to celebrate their great work. Like a lot of kiwis, many of us love to attend sporting and racing events too.
